Greenpeace has created a petition to end Lego's partnership with Shell, and despite originally being outraged, I am beginning to lean towards Greenpeaces point of view. Greenpeace aren't against Lego, they openly support them, however they are angered that later this year Lego plans to extend its partnership with Shell, a company which plans to drill in the arctic for fossil fuels. So perhaps, despite Legos 50 year long partnership the Oil giant, it is time for Lego to let go their attachments to Shell, in the future.
But in my opinion, in all of this, we have to try and remember, that Lego is not the bad guy here, and Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen is no Lord Business.
